Take the bus to Due Laghi (about 50 minutes from Riva del Garda). Just behind the Giardino delle Spezie restaurant the path leading to the Roggia di Calavino begins: a little-trodden but incredibly charming trail. Here, you will not only find a picturesque environment, but also traces of the area’s industrious past.
If you feel like walking further, you can descend towards Sarche and return to the starting point by walking alongside Lake Toblino. This lakeside stroll will give you an unforgettable view of the castle on the water.
Prefer travelling by bike? The best way to explore the Valle dei Laghi is to take the Torbole - Sarche cycle path and then move on the many minor roads that cut through the valley.
Hikers and bikers also have the chance to add another unmissable activity to their plans: a gourmet visit to the many wineries and farms scattered around the valley! After all, what could be better than recharging your batteries with a snack made from tasty local produce?
