Freshwater fish (and more) takes centre stage in a gourmet aperitivo with tapas created by chef Stefano Rossi (Lido Palace), paired with exclusive cocktails by Leonardo Veronesi (Riva Bar) and the vinyl beats of Marc Pyson. All in the elegant setting of Palazzo Martini, a historic residence in the heart of Riva del Garda.

Pesce in piazza: Torbole’s tradition on the table
Piazza Lietzmann, Torbole sul Garda
11.30 – 14.30
Torbole relives its past as a fishing village with a lakeside lunch in the square. The star ingredient is the day’s fresh catch from Alberto Rania, the last professional fisherman of Garda Trentino. In the chef’s hands, it becomes a full menu to enjoy with lake views.

Pesce in piazza: Lake street food
Porticciolo dei pescatori - Casa del Dazio, Torbole sul Garda

An initiative that celebrates Torbole’s past as a fishing village, offering a contemporary way to enjoy lake fish. All just a few steps from the shores of Lake Garda, with live music. At 13.00 the weighing of the catches from the Torbole Pike Trophy will take place, the gathering of sport anglers fishing for pike both from boats and from the shore. On this occasion, the fishermen’s harbour of Torbole will relive its former splendour, animated by boats and enthusiasts. At 15.30 the award ceremony for the three winning boats will follow.

Fizz & Fish: An exclusive gourmet dinner

A refined dinner organised in collaboration with Strada del Vino e dei Sapori del Trentino and the ENAIP Riva del Garda Training Centre. The fish used to prepare the tapas is supplied by Troticoltura Armanini and Astro.
