In the heart of the village of Lundo, a festival takes shape that transforms the town into an open-air stage.
The Street Theatre Festival invites visitors to enjoy a unique experience where art, landscape and community come together.
The first edition brings together internationally acclaimed companies, offering a programme of performances spread throughout the village.
Among narrow streets, squares and scenic viewpoints, performances unfold naturally, surprising the audience and guiding them through the spaces of the village.
Here, puppet theatre becomes a universal language, engaging adults and children, residents and visitors, in an atmosphere that is both joyful and intimate.
Alongside the outdoor performances, the festival finds its core in a theatre recently restored to the community, a lively space that once again welcomes artists and audiences and becomes a place for cultural exchange.
The artistic direction by the company Di Filippo Marionette, together with the Pro Loco of Lundo “Sùbit Fat”, shapes a programme that combines quality, research and accessibility, fostering a dialogue between tradition and contemporary expression.
The festival is more than an event, it is an invitation to slow down, discover the area and experience the village from within.
An experience that brings together culture, tourism and community, generating new energy and opportunities for the future.
A project also recognised at national level: this year’s edition has been awarded funding through the National Tourism Fund (FUNT), confirming its value in promoting territories and supporting sustainable tourism.
