The Festival della Sostenibilità sul Garda celebrates its 10th edition with a widespread programme running from March 21 to June 21, 2026, involving local communities and stakeholders in a shared path towards a more sustainable future.
The initiative promotes ecological, social, energy and digital transitions, encouraging dialogue and collaboration between citizens, businesses, public institutions and associations.
An opportunity to explore key sustainability topics and share best practices.
The programme features a wide range of events including conferences, seminars, workshops, walks, guided tours, tastings, exhibitions, sports events and educational activities, enhancing the Garda area through culture, landscape, traditions and innovation.
Three main projects run throughout the festival:

- World Days on Lake Garda

GARDA SUSTAINABLE WALKS
Arco (TN), Largo Arciduca Alberto d’Asburgo, 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Following its recent reopening, the Arboretum of Arco once again welcomes visitors and nature lovers to one of the most fascinating botanical and historical sites in Garda Trentino. The guided tour will lead participants through a rich variety of tree species and lush evergreen vegetation typical of warm climates, highlighting the botanical features of this historic garden. At the same time, the story of the site will be shared: created in the second half of the 19th century during the Habsburg era, it is now the last remaining part of the park once surrounding the villa of Archduke Albert of Habsburg. A journey through nature and history to discover an important natural and cultural heritage.

INTERNATIONAL DAY OF LIGHT
SEEDS OF SUSTAINABILITY: GARDA PLASTIC FREE

This conference explores the protection of Lake Garda, focusing on plastic pollution, microplastics and their impact on aquatic ecosystems and human health. The initiative includes scientific, institutional and educational contributions, with a focus on best practices and concrete local actions.
ECO WALK IN TORBOLE
GARDA SUSTAINABLE WALKS
Colonia Pavese, Nago Torbole (TN), 2:30 pm - 4:30 pm
An ecological walk with Clean Up activities, open to the public and led by a certified mid-mountain guide, aimed at raising awareness and actively involving participants in protecting and caring for the environment.
Free participation.
The Festival also promotes biodiversity conservation and sustainable practices, in line with the International Year of Rangelands and Pastoralists, encouraging responsible ecosystem management and environmental awareness.
