Rievocazione storica dei voti di S. Abbondio o dei 12 Sabati

This is an event that since 1993, the Circolo Culturale Amici dell'Oratorio, in collaboration with the Municipality's Culture Department, has reproposed as a popular festival, to rediscover the traditions and the sincere and profound faith of its ancestors. Faith of which the Vow is an expression, in the way it is pronounced and in the convictions it expresses about work and respect for the holiday, to the point of fining those who did not respect the community's rules.

Sunday, May 3 – Dro, Church of the Santi Martiri Anaunensi

• 8:30 PM – CONCERT with the Trio Armonia (Dro) and the Trio Rubino (Pergine)

Saturday, May 9 – Dro, Library

• 2:30 PM – Historical readings for children

Saturday, May 16 – Drena Castle

• 8:00 PM – HISTORICAL DINNER AT THE CASTLE

Friday, May 22 – Dro, Piazza delle Chiese

• 6:30 PM – Opening of the food area with medieval music
• 9:00 PM – PALIO DELLE BOTTI – 24th edition
  Teams: Dro, Ceniga, Pietramurata, Drena, with performances by women’s teams

Saturday, May 23 – Dro, Piazza delle Chiese

• 4:30 PM – Playing through history: historical games for children, followed by entertainment with clown Molletta
• 6:30 PM – Square opening with medieval music, jugglers, fire performers, and inflatable attractions
• 7:00 PM – Opening of the food area with traditional Trentino dishes and local wines
• 10:15 PM – DANCING FOUNTAINS – Water show with music and fire effects

Sunday, May 24 – Dro, Piazza delle Chiese

• 12:00 PM – Opening of the food area
• 4:30 PM – Start of the HISTORICAL PARADE in 17th-century costumes
  Followed by the RENEWAL OF THE VOW, with parchment signing and reading of the 1630 vow of St. Abbondio
• 6:00 PM – Falconry show by Stefano with his falcons in flight
• 7:00 PM – Free distribution of “pasta e fasoi e pam de molche” in memory of Donna Fior’s legacy
  Reopening of the food area
• 8:00 PM – Flag-throwing, drums and trumpets show with the FLAG-WAVERS of the walled city of Montagnana
• 10:00 PM – Ringing of the bells marking the end of the historical reenactment

Wednesday, May 27 – Dro, Church of Sant’Abbondio

• 8:00 PM – Rogation procession, thanksgiving Mass, and blessing of the fields

Friday, May 29 – Castagneto di Drena

• TREE FESTIVAL, in collaboration with Dro Primary School, the Forestry Service, and the municipalities of Dro and Drena
