In Cavrasto the arches of the old farmhouses are turned into little shops for local produce. The whole village turns into a large food and wine community where the Bleggio walnut plays a starring role, either on its own or in fragrant cakes, bread, a walnut liqueur, and the rare walnut salami.

10.30 am – Inauguration ceremony and ribbon-cutting
11.00 am – Roaming musical entertainment with the duo Damiano e Nicola
12.00 – Lunch with the Bleggio walnut: zero-km dishes prepared by the Pro Loco of Cavrasto and local associations
2.00 pm – Guided walk organised by the Ecomuseum of the Judicaria
6.00 pm – Concert by the Voci Giudicariesi Choir

Sunday 9 November
9.00 am – Guided walk organised by the Ecomuseum of the Judicaria
10.00 am – Opening of the traditional market
Musical entertainment with I Gemelli della fisarmonica
12.00 – Lunch with the Bleggio walnut: zero-km dishes prepared by the Pro Loco of Cavrasto and local associations
2.00 pm – Roaming live music with Irish folk by Artesòn
3.30 pm – I burattini di Stenico: puppet show for children
6.00 pm – Prize-giving for the competition “Addobba ’na sgranera”

Useful information
Throughout the festival, visitors can vote for the most beautiful sgranera (a traditional broom made of broomcorn).
A family area will be available with changing table and nursing corner.
Dogs are welcome but must be kept on a lead.
