An event for all ages, blending games, music, and creativity
The Riva Games Festival returns to Riva del Garda with its second edition, offering three days dedicated to gaming, comics, creativity and pop culture. From 14 to 16 August, the historic centre becomes a lively and welcoming space for curious visitors, enthusiasts and families.
Organised by the young members of the Corpo Bandistico Riva del Garda, the festival was created as an opportunity for gathering and sharing, highlighting games as a tool for social interaction, creativity and cultural growth. The initiative is developed in collaboration with several local organisations, including Ludimus and Busaplay, and also involves the Civic Library and the MAG – Museo Alto Garda, which host talks, workshops and activities focused on comics.
The programme includes board game, video game and trading card tournaments, role playing sessions, a gaming area, workshops and guest talks, as well as a cosplay contest and many moments of entertainment. A special guest is Alessandro Sisti, writer of PK – Paperinik New Adventures, who will take part in public talks, workshops and a dedicated exhibition celebrating the 30th anniversary of the series.
The festival concludes with Movie Night: A Soundtrack Live Experience – Japan Fantasy, a concert by the Corpo Bandistico Riva del Garda dedicated to the most iconic soundtracks from anime and video games.
