The Festa della Pace, organised by the CNGEI Scouts of Arco, is an event dedicated to promoting a culture of peace, coexistence and dialogue. The 2026 edition, scheduled for Saturday 19 and Sunday 20 September, takes place in the Giardino della Pace and the spaces of Villa Tappainer, offering a rich programme of activities.
The initiative is the result of a shared process involving local organisations based at Villa Tappainer together with the Municipality of Arco, creating an open moment of encounter for the community. Seminars, workshops, music and a historical exhibition invite visitors to reflect on themes of nonviolence and coexistence.
At the heart of the event is the silent torchlight procession for peace, a powerful symbolic moment that brings together participants in a shared walk through meaningful places in the town, including Via Baden Powell. The procession becomes a moment of collective participation and civic expression, uniting people of different ages and backgrounds around a universal message.
Throughout the event, local associations and organisations animate the spaces with workshops and activities inspired by the theme of peace, inviting visitors and passers-by to stop, take part and share the experience.
