Cima Parì is one of the most stunning viewpoints in Valle di Ledro. On a clear day, it offers views sweeping from Lake Ledro to Lake Garda, from the Dolomites to Adamello.
The path to the summit runs along the Great War Front, following in the footsteps of the Austrian and Italian soldiers who fought in the Guerra Bianca (i.e. The White War).

Please note: The SAT 413 path ir rather narrow and particular attention must be paid when walking on it.
Follow the forestry road from the car park to the malga, from where the senter de le vache (i.e. cows trail) (SAT 435) starts. Follow the path uphill to Bochet de Carèt and then downhill to Bocca di Saval. The path to Cima Parì is unmarked but easy to spot. Return to Saval along the same way and take the SAT 413 path to Bocca di Trat, where it is possible to stay at Rifugio Pernici during its opening months. Take the forestry road back to the starting point.
Exit the A22 motorway at Rovereto Sud - Lago di Garda. Follow the SS240 della Val di Ledro to Bezzecca and turn towards Val di Concei. From Lenzumo follow the signs for Rifugio Nino Pernici. Keep on the asphalt road (later gravel) that runs up the side of the mountain and leads to the car park.
Car Park at Malga Trat.
You need to wear the right clothing and take the proper gear when you go hiking in the mountains. Even on relatively short easy outings make sure to take all you need so you don't run into trouble if things take an unexpected turn, for example a storm blows up or you have a sudden drop in energy levels.
What should you take when you go on a hike?
Your rucksack (for a day trip a 25/30L capacity should do) should contain:
Make sure you're wearing the right footwear for the trail and season. The going can get rough and rocky underfoot and a pair of hiking boots will protect you from sprains. When wet, a grassy slope, rocky slab or steep trail can be dangerous unless you are wearing the proper footwear.
And finally... don't forget to bring your camera! You'll need it to capture the stunning views you come across all over Garda Trentino. And if you like, you can share your memories with us at #GardaTrentino.
