Discovering a small side valley of the Ledro Valley, among green meadows and historic places.
The name Val dei Molini comes from the numerous water mills that were located along the stream in past centuries (Molino/Mulino means mill). In 1866, the meadows of Santa Lucia were the site of the battle of Bezzecca, fought between Italian soldiers under Garibaldi’s command and the k.u.k. army. The small church of Santa Lucia contains frescoes and graffiti from the 14th century.
The Colle di Santo Stefano, with its war memorial and trenches, is located a few minutes from the village of Bezzecca.
Emergency number: 112.
