Carved by the waters of the Sarca River, the Limarò Canyon captivates visitors with its striking landscape of deep gorges, towering rock walls and breathtaking views. A place where the force of water has shaped one of the valley’s most fascinating natural environments over time.
To reach the Limarò Gorge, follow the Water Trail (Sentiero dell’Acqua), a pleasant route immersed in nature that connects the Comano Thermal Baths with Villa Banale. From here, the trail descends once again towards the Sarca River along quiet roads and woodland paths until it reaches the canyon.
Once there, don't miss the opportunity to admire the gorge from the two panoramic viewpoints and from Ponte Balandin, a historic bridge that once represented the only connection between the two sides of the valley.
The Limarò Canyon is located just a short distance from the Comano Thermal Baths and is one of the most fascinating highlights along the Water Trail.
