A walk in search of the past.
The Ponale Trail, one of Europe’s loveliest and a symbol of Lake Garda, connects Riva del Garda with the Ledro Valley, past rocky walls that overlook the blue waters. It has so many tales to tell… The path is suitable for all and leads to the Tagliata del Ponale, a unique feat of military engineering entirely carved from the rock. On the way we retrace the history of Garda Trentino together and observe the fortifications constructed to defend this borderland, all while discovering the past that lies behind this famous route.
