Tour of the Distilleries

An afternoon to enjoy at your own pace, moving from one distillery to the next to discover the world of grappa and local spirits up close.

Five stops, five encounters with the distillers and five different perspectives on a tradition shaped by raw materials, craftsmanship, time and knowledge passed down through generations. At each stop, you’ll hear stories and anecdotes directly from the producers, taste the featured spirit and enjoy a paired finger food created by chef Paolo Betti using products from the Mese del Gusto.

• How does the tour work?
  The tour is self-guided. Between 2:00 pm and 6:30 pm, you can visit the five distilleries in any order and at your own pace.

• What are the five stops?

  Giulio & Mauro – The birth of grappa
  From the raw material to double distillation: discover the heart of the process and how white grappa is made.

  Maxentia – Beyond pomace
  Apples, pears, plums and other autumn fruits are transformed into spirits, each revealing its own distinctive aromas and character.

  Casimiro – The botanical soul
  Herbs, roots and berries meet the spirit through the traditional art of infusion, creating distinctive aromas and flavours inspired by the local area.

  Francesco – The connection with the land and grape variety
  Pomace from native grape varieties such as Nosiola becomes spirits that reflect their origins and the character of the region.

  Giovanni Poli – Time, wood and tradition
  Barrel ageing, aged grappas and traditional liqueurs show how time, wood and long-established know-how shape the final spirit.

• What can you expect at each distillery?
  At each of the five stops, you’ll meet the distiller, discover a different aspect of production and taste the featured spirit paired with a finger food.

• What is included in the ticket?
  At each of the five distilleries, the ticket includes:
  • a meeting with the distiller and an introduction to their work;
  • a tasting of the featured product;
  • a paired finger food created by chef Paolo Betti using products from the Mese del Gusto.
• Do I need to follow a specific order?
  No. The tour is self-guided and you can visit the five distilleries in whichever order you prefer.
• Do I need to visit all five stops?
  The ticket is designed as a journey through all five distilleries, with each stop focusing on a different aspect of distillation.
• When can I take part?
  The five distilleries can be visited freely between 2:00 pm and 6:30 pm.
