Screw up your eyes to see the 'maroni' hiding among their prickly cases on the ground! After the harvest, a tasty snack with local ingredients.
Few things smell of autumn as much as roasted chestnuts. Or, even better, the 'maroni' you just pulled out of the fire! They are the protagonists of this special 'experience': we provide the bag, all you have to do is reach the chestnut grove and patiently search for the delicious fruits.
Once back, a snack of local, wholesome and appetising products awaits you.
INFO & FAQ
- Bookings until 12 p.m. the day before the tour;
- Services included: tour through the chestnut grove, self-harvesting and snack with local foods: typical cake made by a local bakery from Valle dei Laghi and bio apple juice produced by a farm in Valle di Cavedine;
- Required equipment: wear comfortable shoes, suitable for a grassy, uneven ground and bring thick gloves to make chestnut harvesting easier;
- Provided equipment: harvesting bag;
- Punto di incontro: chestnut grove| Google Maps. There is a short walk on gently sloping ground to reach the chestnut grove, which cannot be reached by car. Follow the signs from the car park in Via Zurlon in Masi di Vigo | Google Maps;
- Please specify any food intolerances or allergies;
- Dogs must be kept on a leash;
- The activity will only take place if the minimum number of eight participants is reached. Otherwise we will proceed with the refund.
