An Olive’s Journey

From the harvest on Monte Brione to your first taste of new olive oil at the mill.

Spend an afternoon discovering olive growing in Garda Trentino and following the journey of olives from tree to table. Only during harvest season can you witness this process first-hand, as the olive groves come to life and work among the trees marks the start of the new production.

You’ll set off on a walk through the olive groves of Monte Brione to the harvest site. Watch the picking up close, discover the techniques and care involved, and learn how much attention goes into every harvest.

After returning to the starting point, the experience continues at the Agraria Riva del Garda olive mill. Here, you’ll see the freshly picked olives arrive and follow each stage of processing as they become extra virgin olive oil.

To finish, enjoy a small tasting of the new olive oil in the tasting area: the perfect way to savour what you’ve just discovered.

A seasonal experience to walk among the olive trees, meet the people who grow them and taste the results of the new harvest.


Want to join? Here’s what you need to know:

• Book at least 24 hours in advance.
  
• A minimum of 15 participants is required for the experience to take place.
  
• The meeting point is the free car park at the foot of Monte Brione, on Via Sisto Mazzoldi in Sant’Alessandro, Riva del Garda.
  
• Participants will travel from the olive grove to the mill in their own cars.
  
• Wear footwear and clothing suitable for walking outdoors.
