On 24 May 2026, an extraordinary event returns to the Ledro Valley: Ledro Sky Trentino, once again confirmed as a stop on the Golden Trail World Series, the circuit that brings together the world’s trail running elite.
The best trail runners on the planet, alongside amateur athletes, will take on a route inspired by the historic Ledro Sky course – a technical, spectacular race deeply rooted in the local landscape. 21 km with 1,700 metres of elevation gain: pure adrenaline from start to finish.
The trail climbs to high altitude before following the panoramic ridgelines of the Ledro mountains – the famous greste. A constant rhythm of ups and downs leads runners across Cima Parì, Cima Sclapa and Cima d’Oro, all part of the Pichea–Rocchetta ridge, a protected natural area within the Alpi Ledrensi Reserve Network, also recognised by the UNESCO MAB programme for its outstanding environmental value.
Along the way, runners pass through and alongside trenches and remains from the First World War, including Rifugio Nino Pernici, built during that period – a living reminder of a landscape where sport, nature and history are inseparably linked.
A route suspended between sky and memory, where sport meets the most authentic beauty of Garda Trentino.
