"La Grasparola", originally established as a non-competitive march to celebrate the end of the agricultural year, has over time become a well-known and highly appreciated event. With its 3–4 days of festivities, it is renowned for its evenings of music and entertainment and is also one of the longest-running running events in Trentino.
The event takes place in the festival park of Pergolese, a small hamlet in the municipality of Madruzzo, and in recent years has been spread over two weekends: the first on Friday and Saturday evenings, while the second begins on Saturday evening and continues throughout the entire day on Sunday. The evenings feature musical entertainment and food and wine experiences.
Sunday is marked by the traditional non-competitive march, which attracts numerous participants every year.
The Grasparola route winds along roads and paths that run through the valley-floor vineyards and the sunny hillside vineyards carved into the mountainside with the famous “fratte” (terraced stone walls), offering participants spectacular views over the entire Valle dei Laghi down to Lake Garda.
After the march, Sunday continues in the festival marquee with lunch and entertainment until late in the evening.
