Rock Master, one of the most historic and prestigious climbing competitions in the world, is preparing in 2026 to continue the renewal process launched with the 2025 edition.
The goal is to transform Rock Master into a true climbing festival-event, combining competition, entertainment and participation, fully aligned with the outdoor identity of Garda Trentino.
The three-day format allows for an expanded program and a balanced distribution of the different target audiences: enthusiasts, families, amateur athletes and media.
At the heart of Rock Master remains the challenge between the world’s top eight male and top eight female athletes, competing in the Boulder and Lead disciplines.

In 2026, Rock Master will celebrate a historic milestone: 40 years of climbing events in Arco.
A journey that began in 1976 with the first natural rock competition and continued from 1987 in the Climbing Stadium, which has since become an international benchmark.
The 2026 edition will therefore be a special occasion, designed to enhance this unique legacy through dedicated initiatives, renewed media resonance, and the involvement of guests and athletes who have shaped the history of the event.
An opportunity to celebrate not only a competition, but a tradition that has helped define Arco’s identity as the Home of Climbing and inspired generations of climbers.
