From October 3 to October 11, 2026, the 48th edition of the International Chess Festival will take place in the prestigious setting of the Arco Casino.
The event, now a well-established fixture on the international chess calendar, will welcome players from all over the world, including athletes with disabilities and visually impaired players, highlighting how chess is a truly inclusive sport, capable of bringing together skill, intelligence, and passion without barriers.
The tournament will be officially rated and valid for the achievement of title norms and category promotions, offering participants an important opportunity for both sporting and professional development.
In addition, 100 electronic chessboards will be installed, allowing games to be broadcast live online and followed in real time on the official event website as well as on the leading international chess platforms, ensuring wide visibility for the event and its players.
