Upon reaching the junction with the path to the Madonnina, we recommend a small detour on the path to the right to enjoy the view. Mountain hikes require specific clothing and equipment. Even for relatively short and easy outings, it is always best to be well equipped to avoid unpleasant surprises and to cope with unforeseen events such as, for example, a sudden thunderstorm or a drop in energy.
What to bring for a mountain trek?
In your backpack (usually a 25/30L is recommended for a day hike) it is good to bring:
Wear footwear suitable for the route and season. The ground of the trails can be uneven or rough, and a pair of hiking boots will protect you from twists. A grassy slope, a rock slab, or a steep path, if wet, can become dangerous without proper footwear.
Finally... do not forget your camera! It will be useful to capture the hike and the countless breathtaking views that Garda Trentino hides around every corner. If you want to share your memories with us, you can use the hashtag #GardaTrentino
