After a long period of closure, the Santa Barbara Hut is finally ready to return to the lives of hikers and the community of Riva del Garda.
Suspended above the town with an extraordinary view over the lake, the Santa Barbara Hut has always been a symbolic place for the people of Riva: a destination for those seeking fresh mountain air, breathtaking scenery, and that deep connection with the land that only mountain paths can offer.
The hut can be reached from Riva del Garda (70 m) via a small road and then along trail 404, which passes near the Bastione (212 m) — about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
