Family tradition and new olive oil

At Frantoio Bertamini, your discovery of Garda Trentino’s extra virgin olive oil begins with the stone mill, the centrepiece of a mill that preserves its artisanal character and family traditions.

In a cosy, welcoming setting, you’ll discover traditional stone milling, used here alongside modern extraction techniques. You’ll learn about each stage of production, from selecting the olives to making the oil, while exploring the centuries-old connection between olive trees, local culture and the landscape around Lake Garda.

Then it’s time to taste the new olive oil. An introduction to sensory analysis will help you recognise its scents, flavours and characteristics, with a particular focus on local olive varieties such as Casaliva.

You’ll taste it from a glass to appreciate its aromatic nuances, and with fresh bread or traditional pan di molche. An experience that brings you closer to the mill’s traditions through the taste of the new season’s oil.
