A food and wine challenge between Trentino and Piedmont, guided by sommelier Giuseppe Carrus
Two regions, two great winemaking traditions and a challenge to be savoured. On one side, the Vignaioli del Vino Santo Trentino; on the other, the winemakers of the Il Nizza DOCG association from Nizza Monferrato.
In the glass, Reboro, the dry passito wine of Valle dei Laghi, meets Barbera from Nizza Monferrato, an expression of Piedmont’s winemaking tradition. Two very different wines in terms of history, terroir and character, presented by the winemakers themselves.
The comparison continues on the plate, with finger food prepared using products from both regions, bringing together the flavours of the Trentino mountains and Piedmontese cuisine.
The challenge will be guided by Giuseppe Carrus, sommelier and wine writer, who will lead the tasting and the conversation with the winemakers.
