Gastronomic itinerary Val di Gresta

Food & Wine Walk among the Flavours of Val di Gresta.

The Giro dei volti is a gastronomic journey that puts the spotlight on vegetables grown in Val di Gresta, the first organic district of Trentino. The tour starts at the Consorzio Ortofrutticolo, where farmers bring in the produce from the fields for processing and storing, and leads on through the streets of the village to enjoy at each stop a tasty dish prepared by local farms and restaurants.

A travelling lunch through the streets and vaults of Ronzo-Chienis, with six stops featuring zero-kilometre products from the Val di Gresta. 

Aperitif and starter 

• Carpaccio of carne salada with Nordico extra virgin olive oil from Madonna delle Vittorie,
• Alpine cheese with mustard preserve 

 First course 

Potato gnocchi from Valle di Gresta with vegetable ragù by Antica Gardumo 

 Vegetable intermezzo 

 Main course 

Brescian-style spit-roasted meat with polenta and cabbage from Valle di Gresta, dressed with organic extra virgin olive oil from Madonna delle Vittorie 

 Dessert 

Yoghurt with berries 

 Coffee

INFO & FAQ:

• In case of bad weather, the event will be cancelled and tickets will be refunded;
• Bookings available until 05.00 p.m. on 26 September;
• Participants will have the opportunity to purchase a biobox containing 5 kg of vegetables at the discounted price of €15.00 at the Consorzio Ortofrutticolo, and will receive a 10% discount on all other products on sale.
