Food & wine hiking experience through villages, vineyards and local flavours

A 10 km hiking experience in Valle dei Laghi that combines outdoor activity with traditional Trentino cuisine. Mangio is a food and wine walk through vineyards, villages and castles, designed to explore the area in a relaxed and convivial way.Along the route, several food stations run by local associations offer typical dishes paired with regional wines. The experience is complemented by live music and local craft activities.

What you should know before you go

Meeting point is in Vigo Cavedine. From here, a shuttle bus transfer takes you to Calavino, where the walk begins. Departures are scheduled every 30 minutes for groups of up to 200 people. Please book your preferred time slot and arrive at least 45 minutes in advance for check-in.

The route covers approximately 10 km and includes several food stops:

• Vigo Cavedine: breakfast with barley coffee and biscuits
• Calavino: bread with lard pâté and wild herb sauce (vegetarian option available)
• Lasino: focaccia with local cold cuts and cheeses
• Stravino: strangolapreti with butter/oil and cheese
• Cavedine: carne salada with beans and cabbage
• Brusino: apple strudel (to be confirmed)
• Return to Vigo Cavedine: coffee and local grappa tastings

• No special equipment is required. Comfortable walking shoes are recommended.
• Gluten-free options are not available.
• Accessibility: This experience is not accessible to people with motor impairments.
