The World Climbing Youth Championship is one of the highlights of the IFSC calendar and brings the future of sport climbing to Arco. From 18 to 25 July 2026, the FASI Federal Training Centre will host the world's most promising young athletes in the Lead, Speed and Boulder disciplines, once again making Garda Trentino the world capital of climbing.
More than 750 athletes from 68 international delegations are expected to compete. Adding to the excitement, the Italian national team will be competing on home soil in front of its own fans.
Beyond the competitions, the World Championship will be a true celebration for climbing enthusiasts and families alike. Admission to all competitions is free, as is the live streaming, while the Village will feature food trucks, exhibitor stands, an official merchandise area, activities for children, yoga, skateboarding and many opportunities to enjoy the event atmosphere beyond the competition walls.
Arco has a long-standing tradition of hosting international climbing events. After welcoming the IFSC World Cup, the Paraclimbing World Championships and two editions of the Youth World Championships, it once again confirms its role as one of the world's leading climbing destinations.
For eight days, Garda Trentino will become the stage for the world's best young climbing talents, in an event that combines sport, entertainment and a passion for the outdoors.
