The Race Between History and Nature of Garda Trentino
On Sunday, May 24, 2026, the evocative setting of Monte Brione will host The Race Between History and Nature of Garda Trentino, a sporting event designed to bring together young people, families, and the wider community for a day dedicated to sport, nature, and the enhancement of the local area.
The race has been included in the Circuito Montagne Trentine – Trofeo Scoiattoli and will take place alongside the “Pane e Vino Pesciolino” event, organized by the Pro Loco di Sant'Alessandro. This partnership aims to connect sport, tradition, and the local community, creating a shared celebration and promoting the excellence of the region.
Race Courses
Three routes are planned, designed for different age groups and levels of preparation:
Two youth courses (yellow and green), near the Sant’Alessandro Sports Center, at the foot of Monte Brione, within the olive grove owned by APSP Casa Mia: safe routes immersed in greenery, ideal for introducing young participants to running in a natural setting of great value.
One main course (red), longer and more challenging, winding along the trails of Monte Brione and including the evocative Sentiero della Pace (Peace Trail). Athletes will pass historic forts and trenches dating back to World War I, enjoying spectacular views over Riva del Garda, Arco and Torbole, with Lake Garda and the mountains of Alto Garda forming a stunning backdrop.
