L’Òra dei burattini

L’Òra dei burattini returns from 27 July to 12 August between Arco and Riva del Garda, a festival for children and adults celebrating the fascinating world of puppetry.

Puppets and marionettes, clowns and jugglers, characters and soap bubbles bring to life a rich programme that combines tradition and innovation, featuring both well established companies and emerging talents.
A journey through different artistic languages, where an ancient art form meets contemporary expression.

Ten shows with free admission take place in squares, parks and courtyards across Arco and Riva del Garda, alongside creative workshops and moments of celebration for the whole family.
The festival name refers to the “Òra”, the well known wind of Lake Garda.

The event is promoted by the municipalities of Arco and Riva del Garda, curated by Teatro Iride with Bottega Buffa Circovacanti, under the patronage of UNIMA and UNICEF, for which funds are collected during the festival.
