Arco relives the elegant and refined atmosphere of the 19th century with the Grand Archduke’s Ball and Habsburg Dinner, a special evening combining history, music, dance, and tradition.
The event features a dance evening with historical 19th-century music, accompanied by a parade through the streets of Arco’s historic center. The parade will be led by the Praso Brass Band, followed by performers in 19th-century costumes from the Arco Asburgica dance group.
At the end of the parade, in Piazza Segantini, the Arco Asburgica group will perform historical 19th-century dances, actively involving the audience as well. The choreographies presented are authentic dances from the period (late 1800s). The characters portrayed by the group represent historical figures who actually passed through Arco during the period between the late 19th and early 20th centuries.
