Nosiola Express - The Vino Santo Train

All aboard for a journey through the wineries of the Vino Santo Trentino winemakers! An evocative and enchanting trip to discover the Valle dei Laghi—a true experience to savour and enjoy. Four stops and six wineries where we will meet the winemakers and taste their wines, with Nosiola and Vino Santo taking centre stage. These wines will accompany traditional Trentino dishes, prepared by the chefs of the Slow Food Alliance, served at each winery. Along the way, a guide will introduce us to the local area: Castel Toblino, Castel Madruzzo, the charming villages of the Valle dei Laghi, the lakes of Toblino and Santa Massenza, and the Nosiola vineyards.

Stop 1: Sarche – Santa Massenza
Passing by Lake Toblino and Lake Santa Massenza, we will reach the Giovanni Poli, Maxentia and Francesco Poli wineries. Here we will visit the cellars and enjoy tastings of Nosiola and Vino Santo, served with a small local platter.
At the end of the visits, the first course of the route awaits: traditional Trentino pasta e fagioli or polenta concia.

Stop 2: Santa Massenza – Lasino
The route leads us through the villages of Calavino and Castel Madruzzo to the Pravis winery, where the second course of the tour will be served, paired with a glass of Nosiola. The winery visit follows.

Stop 3: Lasino – Pergolese
Passing through the village of Lasino, we reach the small church of San Siro and then descend through cultivated vineyards to Pergolese, arriving at the F.lli Pisoni winery. Here we will enjoy an afternoon snack with traditional desserts from Panificio Tecchiolli, paired with Vino Santo. The visit concludes with a tour of the barrel cellar.

Stop 4: Pergolese – Lake Cavedine
From the village of Pergolese we reach the Pedrotti winery for the final stop. Winery visit and apericena featuring the fourth course of the tour: Trentino-style orzotto.
