Trentino Gravel is a self-supported cycling journey with no rankings and no assistance. It starts in Rovereto on Saturday, 26 September 2026, and brings participants back to the same starting point by Wednesday, 30 September. It’s not a race. Everyone rides at their own pace, chooses where to sleep and where to stop for food, experiencing Trentino at the speed of their pedals.
There are three routes, all designed as loops. The Short route covers 216 km with 3,000 metres of elevation gain, the Medium 357 km with 7,100 metres, and the Long 376 km with 7,900 metres. The routes follow gravel and forest roads, cycle paths and quiet mountain roads.
Garda Trentino is the first part of the journey, setting the scene for the opening hours on Saturday morning. After leaving Rovereto, the route heads down towards the lake via Mori and Loppio, reaches Nago and Torbole, then follows the Sarca Valley up to Arco and crosses the Marocche di Dro before continuing towards Sarche and the Brenta Dolomites.
The 2026 event is the Pioneer Edition, the first ever held in Trentino, bringing together cyclists from all over Europe.
