Le Vigiliane in Valle di Ledro are the celebrations dedicated to the patron saint of the village, a long-standing tradition that represents one of the most heartfelt and well-attended moments for the local community. The event takes place over several days, with the aim of encouraging broad and cross-generational participation, bringing together people of all ages in an atmosphere of conviviality and sharing.
The festival is made possible thanks to the collaboration of local residents and the active involvement of numerous organizations and associations in the area, which contribute to creating an authentic and community-driven event. Over the years, Le Vigiliane have taken on a supra-local character, attracting not only residents of the Ledro Valley but also visitors from neighboring areas and beyond, thanks to the strong reputation built over time.
The event also holds significant tourism value, appealing to visitors eager to experience genuine local traditions, culture, and the enogastronomic excellence of Trentino. Traditionally, Le Vigiliane mark the opening of the summer season in the Ledro Valley, becoming a symbolic moment of welcome and hospitality.
While firmly rooted in tradition, each edition introduces new elements to enrich the participants’ experience and respond to evolving ways of enjoying the territory. Particular attention is given to families and children, with dedicated activities developed in collaboration with the Volunteer Firefighters of Molina di Ledro, the Molina di Ledro Kindergarten, and, from this year, the Gruppo Sempre Giovani.
With a focus on accessibility and sustainability, the extension of the free shuttle bus service, currently available on Saturday only, is also planned for Friday evening. This initiative will ensure safe and convenient transportation, reduce traffic, and encourage wider participation, including visitors from outside the area.
