Orchidarium returns to the museum with an event dedicated to the fascinating world of tropical orchids, blending nature, discovery and botanical passion.
On Saturday, May 16 and Sunday, May 17, the Foresta tropicale montana greenhouse will host hundreds of orchid varieties, from the most common to the rarest, in an immersive journey through colours, shapes and fragrances. A unique opportunity to explore one of the most extraordinary plant families on Earth, including both botanical species and cultivated hybrids.
Alongside the exhibition, the museum foyer will feature a plant market where visitors can purchase unusual orchids and receive expert advice on selection and care directly from Italian and international growers and specialists.
The programme is enriched by dedicated sessions on orchid cultivation and knowledge, organised in collaboration with the Trentino Orchidee Association.
The experience continues in the tropical greenhouse, an environment recreating a mountain rainforest: a space of over 600 square metres hosting a wide variety of plant and animal species, offering an immersive journey into biodiversity and exotic landscapes.
