9th Daria Morandi Memorial
A well-established annual event for the SAT Arco Section, which once again organizes its traditional mountain running race, part of the SAT Mountain Running Circuit. More than just a competition, the Memorial is a true celebration for everyone. This year the race route no longer takes place in the Oltresarca area, but runs from Arco to San Giovanni al Monte, combining the Memorial with the section’s social gathering at Baita Cargoni.
Route: Arco – Bondiga – San Giovanni al Monte – Baita Cargoni
Distance: 12 km
Elevation gain: 1,200 m
Alongside the competitive race, a 6.6 km non-competitive walk – “Nicola Bertamini Memorial” is also scheduled, open to all participants and set along the scenic forest trails of San Giovanni al Monte.
The meeting point is at 9:30 a.m., with the start at 10:00 a.m. from the Church of San Giovanni in San Giovanni al Monte and the finish at Baita Cargoni.
Participation is free for children up to 12 years of age.
