Garda Trentino Trail is an international event that brings together trail running and nature, running and spectacular landscapes along the shores of Lake Garda, Lake Ledro, and Lake Tenno.
Six routes and all the magic of the Garda Trentino area and the nearby Ledro Valley.
The eleventh edition of Garda Trentino Trail will take place in Garda Trentino from May 15 to May 17, 2026. The full program includes six different race distances (with the addition of the 100 km distance, introduced in 2025), all finishing in the historic center of the town of Arco.
The first race to start will be the Garda Trentino Trail Extra, on Friday, May 15 at 12:00 pm: a 150 km course with 10,000 meters of positive elevation gain. This is the race that represents the entire event, taking athletes around the full crown of mountains surrounding Garda Trentino and the Ledro Valley throughout the race. Runners will cross the Cavedine Valley with its lake and the lunar landscape of the Marocche di Dro, Monte Stivo and Monte Altissimo, interspersed with what is known as the “vegetable garden of Trentino,” the Val di Gresta. The start of the GTT Extra will take place in the town center, simultaneously with the opening of the expo village in Piazzale Segantini in Arco, where for all three days athletes, companions, and visitors will be able to enjoy stands and exhibitions from leading outdoor and trail running brands.
On the morning of Saturday, May 16, the following races will start: Garda Trentino Trail from Riva del Garda at 8:00 am, Tenno Trail from Arco at 10:00 am, and Ledro Trail from Ledro at 11:30 am.
On Sunday, May 17, the Garda Trentino Castle Run will take place, with the Castle of Arco as the absolute star of the final race day.
