In 2025, Val di Ledro will host a truly extraordinary event: the Grand Final of the Golden Trail World Series, the prestigious international circuit celebrating the elite of trail running.
For four days—from the prologue to the closing party—the top 150 trail runners in the world will take on a course that mirrors 90% of the legendary Ledro Sky route: a technical, spectacular race deeply rooted in local terrain and tradition, 20,9 km e 1740 m+.
The trail follows the panoramic ridgelines of the Ledro mountains—known as the iconic “greste”—with a thrilling mix of ascents and descents between Cima Parì, Sclapa, and Cima d’Oro. It runs through protected areas of the Alpi Ledrensi Nature Reserve Network, including the Pichea-Rocchetta ridge, which is also a recognised UNESCO MAB site. Along the way, athletes will pass by trenches and remains from the First World War—living reminders of a landscape where sport, nature and history come together.
The Ledro Sky Trentino Grand Finale unfolds over five action-packed days, combining racing, celebrations and athlete meet-ups:
