Seven days, three countries, and with every step a new horizon unfolds: Europe’s toughest stage race follows a different route through the Alps each year.
Historic trails, breathtaking scenery, and ever-changing challenges define the journey. Some participants return year after year, while others travel from as far away as New Zealand or South Africa. It is an experience set against a spectacular mountain backdrop, leading deep into the realm of pain and perseverance, and ultimately transforming every finisher into a hero.
With Stage 7, we are now approaching the final destination, Riva del Garda, after an intense week marked by constantly changing landscapes, unforgettable emotions, and no shortage of effort. Yet even along this seemingly direct route towards the lake, there are still around 1,800 metres of elevation gain to conquer over a distance of approximately 80 kilometres.
