Medium difficulty route that starts from Ronzo-Chienis and leads to Passo S. Barbara and Passo Bordala alternating naturalistic trails and asphalt.
Signage: 1911. Passo Bordala Trail - route
A fairly demanding climb awaits at the beginning of this route that alternates stretches of asphalt and naturalistic trails leading us to Passo S. Barbara. The descent helps us recover energy to then climb up again to Passo Bordala, where from here you can enjoy the beauty of the Val di Gresta mountains and their colors. Once you reach the latter pass and recharge for the final sprint, it’s time for the last descent back to Ronzo-Chienis, our starting point.
ITRS - International Trail Rating System
The ITRS is an objective methodology to classify routes and trails from a biker's perspective evaluating four aspects:
· Technical difficulty: required skill level
· Shape: combined effect of length, ascent, and descent
· Wilderness factor: necessary planning considering phone reception, rescue options, water supply, and wildlife
· Exposure: consequences of a possible fall

We leave the village of Ronzo Chienis and within a few kilometers reach the first Pass of the day, Passo S. Barbara. From here we continue first on forest roads and naturalistic trails and then return to the asphalt to make the last effort to reach Passo Bordala; now it’s time to enjoy the descent back to the starting point.
The Valle di Gresta area can be reached from other Garda Trentino centers by the extra-urban bus line 332 (Rovereto - Mori - Riva del Garda - Arco - Bolognano).
