A walk in the forest with brief stretches at the edge of meadows will show you firsthand the life and beauty of the mountain.
A nature and environment lover will surely find space to satisfy their desires and observe a lot; that is the work of farmers, potato and corn fields, extensive beech and conifer forests, and the wide Carera Biotope.

Difficulty: T (tourist)
At Cornelle, two kilometers from Fiavé, after leaving the last houses, the SAT 461 signage indicates the path to Malga Cogorna, which will be followed until the junction with the SAT 462/B path. Continue along the latter, entering a large beech forest and reaching the "Palù de Vel", a wide marshy plateau with tall grasses. From the wetland area, the road climbs steeply and then, with flatter stretches, arrives at Tombùs (1071 m), where the SAT 462 path is crossed, along which you descend towards the Passo del Ballino. Upon reaching a solitary house at the edge of the forest, turn left leaving the SAT path and return to Cornelle via the Dus dirt road.
The Fiavé area is served by the extra-urban bus line 211 (Riva del Garda - Tenno - Fiavé - Ponte Arche).
Attention: The runs are not very frequent!
From Ponte Arche/Comano Terme follow the signs towards Fiavé. After entering the village continue on SP 5 del Bleggio until the small settlement of Cornelle (6 km).
Open spaces at loc. le Cornelle (Fiavé).
Mountain hikes require specific clothing and equipment. Even during relatively short and easy outings, it is always better to be well equipped to avoid unpleasant surprises and to deal with unforeseen situations such as a sudden storm or a drop in energy.
What to bring for a mountain trekking?
In your backpack (for a daily hike, a 25/30L is generally recommended) it is good to bring:
Wear suitable footwear for the route and season. The trail surface can be uneven or rough and a pair of hiking boots will protect you from sprains. A grassy slope, a rock slab, or a steep path, if wet, can become dangerous without appropriate footwear.
Finally... don't forget the camera! It will be useful to capture the hike and the countless breathtaking views that Garda Trentino hides around every corner. If you want to share your memories with us, you can use the hashtag #GardaTrentino
