The path crosses the alpine pastures of Leano and Guil and then reaches Cima Nara and Cima Bal, which offer spectacular views of the Ledro Valley and Lake Garda.
The lower Ledro Valley is influenced by Lake Garda, which makes the climate milder and the landscape almost Mediterranean. In the valley floor, vines, figs, and persimmons grow. At altitude, snow arrives later and is sparser than in the rest of the valley.

Mountain hikes require specific clothing and equipment. Even for relatively short and easy outings, it is always better to be well equipped to avoid unpleasant surprises and to face unforeseen events such as, for example, a sudden storm or a drop in energy.
What to bring for a mountain trekking?
In the backpack (for a day hike, a 25/30L pack is usually recommended) it is advisable to bring:
Wear footwear suitable for the trail and season. The trail surface may be irregular or uneven and a pair of boots will protect you from twists. A grassy slope, a rock slab, or a steep path, if wet, can become dangerous without proper footwear.
