If you do not want to travel the entire route of the 731. Garda Sarca Ring, a shortcut is possible at Arco.
Signage: 731a. Shortcut Arco.
The distance is reduced to 32.6 km and the beauty of the route is not affected at all.
Arco is a town of many souls: the medieval village of Stranfora clinging to the castle rock coexists with the gardens and palaces of the Austro-Hungarian Kurort and the Mediterranean landscapes of the olive groves.

Safety Tips
Information contained in this leaflet is subject to inevitable changes, so no indication has absolute value. It is not possible to completely avoid inaccuracies or errors, considering the speed of environmental or weather changes that may occur. It is recommended, however, to check, before undertaking an excursion, the condition of the places and environmental or meteorological conditions.
Coming from the olive grove, we reach the medieval gate of Stranfora and descend along Via Fossa Grande and Via Porta Scaria. Upon reaching the statue of Archduke Albert, we turn left onto Viale delle Magnolie and head towards the center of Arco, distinguished by the imposing structure of the Collegiate, the main church. We leave the church on the left and take Via San Pietro. To the left of the Villa Regina nursing home, we take the cycle path and start following the river northwards. We pass the town center and head towards Prabi, always with the Sarca on our right. Just after the climbing stadium, we cross the river and at the roundabout cross the main road. We enter the tree-lined avenue that leads to the convent of San Francesco, but we leave it almost immediately to take Via Sai on the left. After 100 m we turn right and take Via Angelo Maino, which leads us toward the small settlement of San Martino, where we find the Garda Sarca Ring again.
The main centers of Garda Trentino - Riva del Garda, Arco, Torbole sul Garda, Nago - are connected by several urban and suburban bus lines, which allow access to the route starting points.
Riva del Garda and Torbole sul Garda are also accessible by public navigation services.

Bicycle excursions require specific clothing and equipment. Even for relatively short and easy rides, it is always best to be well equipped to avoid unpleasant surprises and to face unforeseen events such as, for example, a sudden thunderstorm or a drop in energy: even the unexpected is part of the fun!
Also remember to carefully evaluate the type of route you are undertaking, the places you plan to pass through, and the current season. Has it rained? Be careful! The trails will be more slippery and therefore you need to be more cautious.
What to bring with you during a bicycle excursion?
