Fascinating surroundings
Looking beyond the borders of the region reveals that wonderful things await outside Garda Trentino too. High up in the mountains, or indoors in a fascinating museum: there is also plenty to see in the surrounding towns and villages!
A visit to the MART Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Trento and Rovereto, which contains the most important Italian works of art of the 20 th century, is a must. Numerous stimulating exhibitions are held here every year, while the museum is a true “pole of culture” with an attractively wide offer for interested tourists. Trento is also home to the MUSE Museum of Science, which takes visitors into the Earth’s worlds of science, nature, biodiversity, innovation and technologies.
The wonders of the Earth itself can on the other hand be explored in the Adamello-Brenta Nature Park, the largest protected area in Trentino: covering a total of 620 km2 , with unique flora and fauna, it is best discovered on foot or by bike. Another highlight is Monte Baldo, which soars into the sky above Lake Garda. A cable car runs directly to the summit from Malcesine, with awe-inspiring views over... Garda Trentino, its surroundings, and countless other destinations!
