The Franciscan order settled in the Lomaso area in 1664, arriving at the newly built convent next to the ancient church of Saints Quirico and Giulitta, which was later renovated and furnished with valuable fittings. Among the later additions were the Stations of the Cross capitals from 1725 and the cloister well from 1757. Suppressed in the early 1800s, the friars only returned in 1924. Closed again in 2005, the property now belongs to the municipality of Comano.
In this place, where the family was temporarily staying, Giovanni Prati was born in 1814.
