Info

At first sight, the Baone slabs may seem quite easy, but they are actually an excellent starting point for is only starting to climb or wants to get experience with multi-pitches.

SPRING 2022: crag closed due to landslide - check when it reopens

Given the nature of the rock, each of these routes requires good footwork and smearing the soles of the shoes in order to find balance and stability. Controlled, measured movements to ensure a satisfying climb.

There is a flat area at the base of the great wall with some benches and tables which are ideal for a picnic between one route and the next.

The start of each route is marked with a plaque with the name and level of difficulty – which is perfectly normal, except that here they are also written in Braille! Baone is the first bolted crag in the world accessible to the disabled and the approach is also specially designed with tactile maps along the different routes which also makes climbing possible for the visually impaired and blind.

  • 11 routes from 5a to 6a
  • Lenght of routes: 24/75 m
  • Exposure: south
  • Type: Slab - adhesion

Climbing safely means climbing responsibly! Please note these safety rules for safe climbing in Garda Trentino.
