Guided sunset hike on Monte Casale

Watching the sunset from the top of Monte Casale is one of the most magical moments of the day. As the sun disappears behind the Adamello mountain range and the valley takes on the colours of the evening, the moon begins to rise on the opposite horizon, creating a truly unique scene. The wide meadows of Monte Casale offer the perfect viewpoint for enjoying this natural spectacle, surrounded by the silence of the mountains.
Before the hike, there will be a stop at Rifugio Don Zio to enjoy polenta and local cheeses, prepared using ingredients from the area. A relaxed, sociable moment that completes the experience with the authentic flavours of local tradition.

Hike and dinner: here’s how to get ready

• Meet at around 6.15 pm at the fountain car park in Ponte Arche (Open in Google Maps)
  The start time may vary slightly depending on the time of sunset. Any changes will be communicated in advance;
• The experience includes jeep transfer and a short walk on SAT trail 411;
• Dinner at Rifugio Don Zio included in the ticket price;
• The hike is led by a local expert, who will share insights into nature, landscapes, and the history of the area;
• What to bring: trekking shoes, backpack with at least 1 litre of water, snack, sunscreen, sunglasses, hat, spare t-shirt, sweatshirt, and waterproof jacket or umbrella.
  

This experience is not accessible to people with motor, visual or hearing impairments, due to the mountain trail conditions.
