Description

Bread from the pile-dwellings

In the Pile-Dwelling Museum of Lake Ledro there is a 4,000-year-old bread, made from spelt, whole wheat and without yeast. This extraordinary find is the starting point for one of the most popular activities.

Dive into prehistoric times, grind the cereals on the stone mill, knead the flour and bake the bread on red-hot stones: a snack is served!
