ROUTE INFORMATION:
The race starts in the festival park of Mezzolago (675 m), in the municipality of Ledro. From here, following the lakeside path along Lake Ledro, participants reach the historic center of Pieve di Ledro (668 m).
The route then follows the SAT 454 trail, climbing towards Malga Saval (1692 m), passing through the locality of Rave (1060 m), where the first refreshment point is set up. After passing Sella della Cocca (1360 m), the route continues until reaching the pastures of the Saval basin. Upon reaching Malga Saval (1692 m), the path heads towards Monte Carèt (1793 m) before descending to Bocca Saval (1740 m). Here, the second refreshment station and the first time gate (set at 2 hours and 15 minutes) are located.
At this point, the climb to Cima Parì (1988 m) begins, where the flying finish line dedicated to the memory of Damiano Gnuffi is set. Gnuffi was a passionate runner from Ledro and co-founder of S.S.D. Tremalzo. After passing the summit, the route follows the "Senter dele Greste".
Along the ridge, at a constant altitude, runners traverse trenches and pathways from the First World War before reaching Cima Sclapa (1887 m). A steep descent leads to Bocca Dromaè (1675 m), where the third refreshment station and the second time gate (set at 3 hours and 15 minutes) are positioned.
The section from Cima Parì to Bocca Dromaè is highly technical and exposed, requiring maximum attention from all competitors.
The route now ascends the ridge of Cima d'Oro to its panoramic peak (1802 m). During the descent, with stunning views over Lake Ledro and Lake Garda, runners reach the cross of Cima d'Oro (1703 m). The trenches lead to the top of the Coste di Salò, where the fourth refreshment station is located at Belvedere (1400 m).
Following the botanical trail, the descent continues to the locality of Fior di Bella (900 m), followed by a panoramic traverse leading to the outskirts of Mezzolago (675 m).
The final 300 meters on asphalt bring the athletes to the finish line.
The total length of the course is 19.00 km, with a positive elevation gain of 1610 m.
