The “Cammino San Vili Special Week” returns this year—an experience weaving together nature, culture, and inclusion. Now in its fourth edition and organized in collaboration with the National Association of the Deaf (Trento chapter), this initiative offers an inclusive trekking experience open to both deaf and hearing participants, as well as tourists and local residents: a unique opportunity to embark together on an adventure of sharing, discovery, and accessibility.
From September 2 to 6, 2025, participants will traverse over 100 km along the iconic Cammino San Vili—from Madonna di Campiglio to Trento—accompanied by High‑Mountain Guides Ermanno Baldessari and Davide Donati.

Cammino San Vili - Focus
The Cammino San Vili is a long-distance trail linking Madonna di Campiglio and the city of Trento, conceived in 1988 by the SAT (Società degli Alpinisti Tridentini). It symbolizes the enduring bond between the city and the surrounding mountains.
Trento’s identity has always been shaped by dialogue with its mountainous backdrop. The Brenta Group not only represents its alpine projection but also serves as the bridge connecting the valleys to the “great history” flowing along the Adige River. Within this interplay stands Saint Vigilius, Bishop and martyr, who traversed from Trento into the valleys to spread his message—creating a link that still unites urban and alpine life.
Born as a path of memory and identity, the Cammino San Vili preserves natural landscapes, rural heritage, and spirituality that intertwines city and mountain, sacred and secular.
In recent years, the trail has become the focus of a major enhancement project involving the Parco Fluviale della Sarca, local tourism boards of Madonna di Campiglio, Garda Dolomiti, Dolomiti Paganella, and Trento Monte Bondone; the SAT; the Diocese of Trento; and Natourism srl.
