Garda Trentino is once again in the spotlight with one of the most important regattas on the national calendar: the Italian Youth Single-Handed Sailing Championships Kinder Joy of Moving.
From 2 to 7 September 2025, over 600 young sailors under 19 will compete in the waters between Riva del Garda, Arco, and Torbole sul Garda. All the main single-handed classes will be on the water: from the classic Optimist, ILCA4 and ILCA6, to the spectacular foiling dinghies like the Waszp, and windsurf boards Techno293 (with fin) and iQFOiL (with foil). The common thread? Just one sailor per boat or board.
The event is organised by four sailing clubs, united under the Consorzio Garda Trentino Vela: Circolo Vela Torbole, Circolo Vela Arco, Circolo Surf Torbole, and Lega Navale Italiana Riva del Garda.
Programme
Throughout the event, Piazza Lietzmann will host the FIVillage – a lively area with a stage, big screen, sponsor booths, chill-out areas, and meet-and-greet moments with athletes and sailing fans. Perfect for anyone who loves the sport, even from shore!
