December 1899 Riva del Garda: in one of the most breathtaking spots of the lake the Lido Palace Hotel opened its doors. At that time the Trentino Region formed part of the Hapsburg Empire and the strategic border town of Riva was chosen by the Imperial family together with numerous high-ranking guests as their holiday retreat. The roaring years of the Belle Époque was the European setting of outstanding hotel structures like the Lido Palace Hotel. One hundred and eleven years later and after a two year renovation period, the newly designed Lido Palace has maintained the same façade and is proud to present its distinctly contemporary image to the world. Today, with enthusiastic pleasure we confidently offer our guests the luxurious accommodation of 42 rooms and suite, two restaurants and a bench mark Wellness & Beauty SPA. Our intention is to regain the Hotel’s place and enjoy top ranking among the “Greatest” today.
